James: "Taking it 1 day at a time"

Real Madrid star James Rodríguezposted the above photo of himself andSergio Ramoson his Twitter account.
The defender was unable to make a full recovery from his shoulder injury in time to travel to Bilbao to face Athletic. By the looks of things, there was no moping around as the club captain instead reported to Valdebebas to work out in the gym alongside Rodríguez.
James's message, "Taking it 1 day at a time", suggests that neither he nor Ramos will be rushing things or setting any hasty deadlines in their quests to make a comeback.

Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos dislocated shoulder against Shakhtar

Real Madrid have announced that Sergio Ramos dislocated a shoulder during the 4-0 Champions League defeat of Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday.
Ramos, 29, was one of three Madrid players to suffer injuries during the Group A clash, with Gareth Bale and Raphael Varane also being forced to come off.
While there have been no details yet released as to the extent of the problems Bale and Varane sustained, Madrid have given an update on the Spain international.
A club statement read: "Following the tests carried out on Sergio Ramos today in the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, the player has been diagnosed with dislocated acromioclavicular joint in his left shoulder. His condition will be evaluated."
Marca reports that the usual recovery time for the injury would be around two weeks, but Ramos is holding out hope that he will be available for the meeting with Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday next week.
Ramos, who was replaced by Nacho in the 59th minute at the Santiago Bernabeu, took to Twitter after undergoing the tests to tell his fans that he is working on a speedy recovery.
Madrid have not commented on the condition of Bale, who coach Rafa Benitez said after Tuesday's game had suffered a "spasm" in a left calf muscle.
The lack of detail from the club means the €100 million Galactico remains a doubt for Madrid's big looming La Liga games at Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid, and also for Wales' huge upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers in Bosnia on Oct. 10 and three days later at home to Andorra in Cardiff.
Benitez had also suggested that the calf problem was similar to issues previously suffered by Bale -- and AS have pointed out that that former Tottenham player has been sidelined on four occasions by calf problems since joining Madrid in summer 2013.

How to Take a Free Kick Like Cristiano Ronaldo

Otherwise known as the Cristiano Ronaldo rocket shot, the Cristiano Ronaldo free kick is something that all soccer players wish they could do.

Whenever Ronaldo steps up to take free kick the opposing goalkeeper takes a deep breath, as time and time again he rips the ball into the upper corner with a crazy knuckle ball like spin like hard for the keeper to read and judge.

How does Cristiano Ronaldo strike the ball like that? Follow the steps listed below and outlined in the video below if you want to take a free kick like Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.

1) Hit the ball on the valve - hardest part of the ball where you put the air into it
2) Step near the ball to make a divot when you place the ball down
3) Stand directly behind the ball where you want the ball to go
4) Hit the ball with the laces (through the valve area of the ball)
5) Keep your knee down and over the ball
6) No back lift - don't follow through and land on the shooting foot, just strike through the ball

Note: And what you love about a soccer player like Cristiano Ronaldo is he's always trying to get better and improve his game. Yes, even Cristiano Ronaldo stays after training to work on his free kicks or different skills on the ball he's trying to perfect. And that's why Ronaldo is such an amazing player - he's always trying to get better.
